LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska rolled past Wisconsin on Wednesday, 90-60, to improve to 10-0 which matches the best start in program history.
Rienk Mast led the Huskers’ explosive offense with 17 points. Lincoln native Braden Frager added 15 points.
The Huskers took control of the game midway through the first half. The charged up home crowd at Pinnacle Bank Arena celebrated several hustle plays by the Huskers, in addition to a slump-busting 3-pointer by Berke Buyuktuncel. The sophomore forward finished with 14 points. Buyuktuncel briefly left the game with a bloody mouth in the second.
After returning to the game, Buyuktuncel made a shot from beyond the arc, which sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Nebraska returns to action on Saturday at 13th-ranked Illinois.
