When looking at the best romantic comedies of all time , the 1990s loom large in the discussion. It was a great decade for movies in general, but rom-coms seemed to really shine then. It was a perfect storm of charming A-listers at the peak of their wooing powers, a general sense of hope for the future, and the last gasps of meet-cutes that were entirely offline and non-digital.
