Taylor Swift has tearfully spoken out about the "violent" and "scary" attack in Southport last year, which tragically resulted in the deaths of three young girls. In July of the previous year, ten children were injured and three girls lost their lives when 17 year old Axel Rudakubana launched a mass stabbing spree at a Taylor Swift -themed dance workshop in Southport, Merseyside.

Six year old Bebe King and seven year old Elsie Dot Stancombe were pronounced dead at the scene due to their injuries, while nine year old Alice da Silva Aguiar succumbed to her injuries in hospital the following day.

Rudakubana was handed a life sentence for their murders, with Judge Mr Justice Goose describing it as "the most extreme, shocking and exceptionally serious crime".
