EATON RAPIDS, Mich. (WILX) - A 15-year-old boy from Eaton County was arrested Thursday evening after police discovered two concealed weapons during a traffic stop involving a mini-bike.
According to the Eaton Rapids Police Department, officers observed a mini-bike being operated illegally on Hale Street near Chester Street around 7 p.m.
When officers attempted to stop the bike, the 15-year-old driver tried to flee but was quickly arrested.
During the arrest, officers found two weapons concealed on the teen: a pneumatic pistol resembling a Glock-style handgun and a loaded .22-caliber Mossberg AR-style pistol.
The boy was taken to the Eaton County Youth Facility. Police say the case has been forwarded to the Eaton County Prosecutor’s Office, with charges requested for carrying a conceale
