EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - On Friday, Michigan State University kicked off its fall semester commencement, with advanced degree recipients.
While graduation is a time for students to celebrate and reflect on their academic accomplishments, it’s also marks the start of a career.
Ivar Arias says he’s been thinking about the job market. As some classmates are concerned about a lack of opportunities, Arias remains an optimist.
“I’m confident that the job market is having some openings...looking forward to just searching any jobs out there,” Arias said.
Kaitlyn Woodyard, who graduated with a degree in dietetics alongside Arias, echoed a similar sentiment.
“I’m optimistic. I feel like the field of dietetics, there is kind of a small opening as far as working in a clinical setting, which I
