A shocking incident has come to light from the Sunabeda Wildlife Sanctuary under Komna Police Station limits in Nuapada district, where the blood-soaked body of a jawan was recovered on Friday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Gopinath Sabar, a resident of Ghardhara village under Kharial police limits in Nuapada district.
According to reports, Gopinath was posted at the Dhekunpani–216 CRPF camp, located inside the dense forest area of the Sunabeda Sanctuary. The area is known for its difficult terrain and sensitive security environment, as jawans frequently patrol the region to prevent anti-social activities.
