ROCK COUNTY, Wis. — A medical examiner has released the name of a victim of a deadly shooting in Beloit .

According to the Rock County Medical Examiner, the person who died in the shooting on Wednesday was Arianna Fobes, 25, of Beloit.

Fobes was pronounced dead at a local hospital on Wednesday. An autopsy was done on Thursday.

The cause and manner of death are pending, according to the medical examiner.

The incident happened in the 1900 block of Colony Court in Beloit and was reported to authorities just before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Details about the suspect are unclear. 13 WREX has reached out to Illinois State Police about the shooting.
