BELOIT, Wis. -- The Rock County Medical Examiner's Department on Friday released the name of a woman who was shot and killed in Beloit Wednesday evening.
Arianna Fobes, 25, of Beloit was shot in the 1900 block of Colony Court. The shooting was reported at around 5:30 p.m. Fobes was taken to a hospital where she later died.
A forensic autopsy was completed on Thursday, however the cause and manner of Fobes' death were still pending as of Friday afternoon. Additional testing was underway.
Police have not yet said what led to the shooting but said that it was an isolated incident. No arrests had ben announced in the case as of early Friday afternoon.
