The excitement for the 2025-26 season was difficult to contain throughout the summer and fall for the Bozeman and Gallatin swim teams.

The Bozeman girls have been asking head coach Siobhan Gilmartin about relay lineups since July. Throughout the fall, Bozeman sophomore Lizzy Williamson and Gallatin sophomore Shelby Russell have counted down the days until the season starts.

Gilmartin — who is the head coach of all four Bozeman and Gallatin swim teams — said that energy from her swimmers is contagious. Along with that excitement, Gilmartin also feels a calmness because of the team leaders and community fostered within the Bozeman Swim Center.
