Fred Warner might be injured, but that hasn’t stopped him from thinking about where the 49ers hope their season ends.

Speaking at the Bay Area Host Committee’s Super Bowl LX Speaker Series at Levi’s Stadium on Thursday, Warner admitted he envisions San Francisco’s potential postseason path. NBC Sports Bay Area’s Bonta Hill asked Warner whether he lets himself think about the Super Bowl while he’s sidelined.

"You’re damn right I think about it," Warner said. "Especially when I’m not out there. But you’re in it, as a player. Coach [Kyle] Shanahan makes it a point to stay focused on every single week. Man, we got the Tennessee Titans coming to town. It’s about winning one game."

Warner added that stepping back from the field makes it harder not to look ahead.
