INDIAN HILL APARTMENTS: A 17-year-old boy was taken to the crisis shelter after police responded to a report of an altercation by his 33-year-old father Wednesday evening, Deputy Chief Brent Wasson said. The father said that he and his son had gotten into an argument when he tried to have his son complete some schoolwork, leading to the boy punching him before wrapping his arms around his father’s neck and choking him. The boy eventually left the residence as the father called the police. EMS evaluated the father, who had visible signs of injury on his face and neck, but did not transport him.
