KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - After an explosive offensive year in 2025, Tennessee offensive coordinator Joey Halzle and wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope have been rewarded with raises and contract extensions.

On3’s Chris Low reports that Halzle will make $1.45 million annually to lead the Tennessee offense. He will also remain the Tennessee quarterbacks coach.

Additionally, Low reported that Pope will make $825,000 in 2026 and $850,000 in 2027. He is adding pass game coordinator to his title.

Tennessee’s offense ranked among the top programs in the nation last season. The Volunteers’ 40.8 points per game were the most among SEC programs. Tennessee finished 7th nationally in scoring offense.

Quarterback Joey Aguilar also finished 7th nationally with 3,444 passing yards.
