December has started with a win-lose pattern for the Colts — the team won 5-3 against Hawkesbury on Dec. 4 , splitting the home-and-home series with the Hawks after a 5-4 loss on Dec. 5 . The Colts doubled up the Pembroke Lumber Kings 6-3 on Dec. 7 .

It’s a crowded middle of the standings though, with fourth-place Smiths Falls just two points ahead and the Kemptville 73’s sitting with 35 points.
