King Charles III shared a rare update and revealed that in the new year, the schedule of his cancer treatment can be reduced.

The 77-year-old British monarch spoke on Dec. 12 about his experience as part of a campaign for Stand Up To Cancer. His message was recorded two weeks prior at his residence, Clarence House.

Charles, who was diagnosed in 2024 with an unspecified form of the disease, emphasized the importance of early cancer checks.

“Today I am able to share with you the good news that thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to doctors’ orders, my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the new year," Charles said.
