Early Sunday, a sharp cold front moves in from the northwest. It won’t bring much rain, if any at all, but it will deliver a serious blast of Arctic air. Charlotte may start Sunday near 50°, but temperatures quickly tumble through the day, setting us up for an icy start to the new week. Overnight lows drop into the teens and even single digits, and the High Country is staring down the possibility of subzero wind chills some of the coldest conditions we’ve felt since January.
