ROGERS -- A Rogers man was arrested Thursday night after being accused of shooting a paintball gun in a Ross Dress for Less store.

Alex Salgado-Sanchez, 22, was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set. He was on suspicion of aggravated robbery, commercial burglary and aggravated assault.

Prosecutors have not filed any formal charges against him

Cpl. Don Lisi, a spokesman for the Rogers Police Department, said police received a call at 7:04 p.m. Thursday about an incident at the store on North 46th Street.

Salgado-Sanchez entered the store with a paintball gun and fired off a few paintballs into the ceiling, Lisi said. Officers arrived four minutes after receiving the call, and five people had already subdued Salgado-Sanchez, he said.
