The Frederick County government has announced a developer for a planned affordable housing project at its Prospect Center campus on Himes Avenue in Frederick.

Conifer LLC signed an interim agreement with the county this week to begin steps toward building 148 units on county-owned land adjacent to a building that will host a wide range of the county's social services offices.
