Gov. Ned Lamont has directed that U.S. and Connecticut flags be lowered to half-staff on Sunday in remembrance of the victims of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Twenty children and six adults were killed at the Newtown school on Dec. 14, 2012.
