MERIDIAN, Idaho — A motorcyclist died after a crash involving a truck on Friday morning.

Meridian Police said the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of N. Linder Road near Rocky Mountain High School.

MPD said a Kawasaki sport bike-style motorcycle was traveling north on Linder. A Jeep Gladiator entered Linder Road and the two collided, according to police.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured and received medical attention at the scene, but they were pronounced dead. Police said the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.

MPD only identified the motorcyclist as a 20 year-old man. Their identity will be released by the Ada County Coroner's Office once next of kin is notified.
