Country music royalty is headed for the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino this spring.
Alison Krauss and her longtime band Union Station will play the 5,000-seat venue June 7, with opener Jerry Douglas.
One of the most successful bluegrass artists ever, Krauss has won 27 Grammy Awards since the early ’90s — the fourth most in Grammy history behind Beyoncé, Quincy Jones and Georg Solti. Her collaborations with Robert Plant helped bluegrass reach new heights of mainstream popularity.
Even though she has had only one single top the country charts (“ Buy Me a Rose ” with Kenny Rogers in 2000), she has sold more than 12 million albums.
She released her 15th album, “Arcadia,” earlier this year.
