The Lane Kiffin era at Ole Miss has ended with his departure for the LSU Tigers, and new coach Pete Golding is looking to maintain the program's stability.

Just recently, news hit that the Rebels hired John David Baker as their offensive coordinator to address that position, as Charlie Weis Jr. will join Kiffin's staff at LSU. Weis Jr. will still serve as the team's OC in their College Football Playoff games.

Amid the major coaching news, Golding shared his thoughts on bringing Baker back to the Ole Miss staff. Baker previously worked under Kiffin from 2022 to 2023, then left for East Carolina.
