DeWitt, N.Y. - A Syracuse man was arrested Thursday afternoon following a DeWitt police investigation into a stabbing at a Chipotle on Monday night.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday, police were called to the restaurant at 3496 Erie Boulevard East for a fight involving three people, said Lt. Jerry Pace, spokesperson for the DeWitt Police Department.

When officers arrived, those involved in the fight had already left, Pace said. A short time later, police were notified that a person with stab wounds had arrived at a local hospital.

The victim and his friend had been waiting in line for food when they noticed a man at the front of the line that they knew, police said.
