The Huntsville Police Department is facing more misconduct issues after WAAY 31 learned of another arrest and termination within the department.

WAAY 31 confirmed department leaders terminated Officer Brenden Massex on Dec. 3 due to a personnel issue. Another officer is on administrative duty pending court proceedings regarding her March 15 arrest on domestic violence charges.

According to court filings regarding the case of Officer Brittany Rael, the District Attorney is now asking the state to drop the charges following Rael's completion of a substance abuse treatment program, counseling, and community service.
