J.J. Watt on Friday said his younger brother, Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt, had to undergo surgery after experiencing a partially collapsed lung following "a dry needling treatment session” at the team’s facility in Western Pennsylvania.

J.J. Watt, who is a former NFL player, made the announcement in a post on X . After the team’s practice on Friday, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said T.J. Watt was home resting comfortably but would be unavailable when Pittsburgh hosts the surging Dolphins on Monday.
