For much of his time as the youngest son of President Donald Trump, Barron Trump has kept a low profile. During his father’s administration, Barron also was a minor whose protective mother, Melania Trump, could generally count on the media to respect her son’s privacy.

But that hands-off approach to covering Barron has probably ended with the New York Times reporting this week that the 19-year-old college student has become an admirer of Andrew Tate, the manosphere influencer with American and British citizenship who is an accused sex trafficker and rapist and who has been under investigation in Romania for allegedly coercing women into pornography and beating and having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
