SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - Former Nebraska State Senator Lynne Walz was in South Sioux City on Friday, Dec. 12 morning, for stop number 6 of her statewide listening tour.

The tour is part of her exploratory campaign for a possible run for Nebraska’s governor in 2026.

Walz, who ran for lieutenant governor in 2018, said it’s important to hear the needs of people across the state.

“The one thing I learned from the run for the Lieutenant Governor was how important it was to get out to communities across Nebraska and make sure that they understand that they’re being heard,” Walz said. “This is not a campaign about me or my aspirations. This is a campaign about the people who live in Nebraska.”
