Over 70 potential jurors packed a Fort Worth courtroom on Friday, but ended up going home.
Jury selection began for the trial of DeAujalae Evans of Fort Worth, charged with intoxication manslaughter, causing the death of a peace officer or firefighter.

Evans is accused of fatally hitting Fort Worth Sergeant Billy Randolph last August, as he was working the scene of another crash on I-35W.
According to court documents, she told detectives she had taken 10 shots before getting behind the wheel and was drunk at the time of the crash.

She appeared in court today as her attorneys, along with prosecutors and a judge, questioned potential jurors.
