KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee redshirt sophomore linebacker Arion Carter is foregoing his remaining eligibility and declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced on social media Friday.

Carter made 7.6 tackles per game in 2025, the most among all players in the SEC despite battling a foot injury for most of the year.
In three seasons, Carter appeared in 31 games making 161 tackles as a Vol.
The Smyrna, Tennessee native represented Tennessee at SEC Media Days in 2025 and is a semifinalist for the 2025 Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award.
