The Department of Justice on Friday filed a lawsuit against Fulton County, Georgia, in an attempt to obtain records from the 2020 election , in what appears to be the latest move from the Trump administration to investigate the election the president lost. The Justice Department is seeking documents including ballot stubs and signature envelopes from the 2020 general election, the lawsuit from the DOJ's civil department states.
