CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A man was charged on Friday in connection with the death of a Charlotte mother who was found dead behind a church earlier this week in west Charlotte, according to police.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said on Friday, Dec. 12 that they charged 38-year-old Lorenza Inman Jr., for killing 31-year-old Frezja Baker, who was reported missing more than a week ago and was found dead inside her car behind a church off Sanders Avenue.
Inman was charged with murder, assault on a female, and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
Police said that Inman was arrested in Maxton, North Carolina and was transferred into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
