ENFIELD, N.C. (WITN) - Police say an Enfield man caught after a string of break-ins is facing a whopping total of 83 charges.
Travell Scott is accused of committing crimes against 39 victims over several years. Police say 40 more warrants are still being processed.
According to police, the 31-year-old was taken into custody Dec. 2 from a home on Bell Street after being on the run since Oct. 22.
The charges include breaking and entering, larceny, damage to property, and possession of stolen items. Scott is also charged as a habitual felon.
He also faces several drug charges, including possession with intent to sell cocaine, marijuana, and a Schedule-I substance. He is also charged with maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possessing drug paraphernalia.
