PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - A judge has changed the bond requirements again for a man accused of killing Amber Spradlin in Floyd County in June, 2023.

M.K. McKinney is charged with murder and eight counts of complicity to tampering with physical evidence.

Judge Eddy Coleman ordered that M.K. McKinney’s bond is to be set $5 million, which may be secured by the combination of a $500,000 property bond (requiring the posting of real property with a value of $1,005,000) and $4,500,000 partially secured with 10 percent cash ($450,000).

McKinney’s attorneys had asked for another modification to his bond earlier this month.

In the judge’s order, several non-financial conditions were put in place if he’s able to post bond.
