WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Longtime KNSS morning show host Steve McIntosh is retiring at the end of 2025.

McIntosh was live Friday afternoon in Old Town near downtown Wichita, capping off a career that has spanned decades. McIntosh has been in Wichita radio for 55 years.

After the live show, a public reception was held. McIntosh noted the changes in technology over the years, but said that the purpose has always been the same.

“This morning show we’ve done, we’ve done for 28 years together, Ted and I,” McIntosh said. “And that’s unheard of, for two people to do one together for that long. And we’ve got a ton of awards and things like that. Great recognition from the public and the listeners, and that’s the most rewarding thing.
