A winter storm is brewing but ODOT is out and about treating the roads all weekend long.

As the storm moves in, 45 crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation will be pre-treating the roads beginning at 4:30 Saturday morning.

"We already have a lot of salt out on our roadways between Mahoning and Trumbull counties so that salt and brine is currently on the road and it will remain so that way when that snow does start to fly, our crews really get a head start," Ray Marsch, ODOT District 4 public information officer said.

However, it won't be enough when temperatures get too low.

"When that temperature drops on Sunday and we're getting pavement temperatures below 20 degrees which is forecasted, our crews are going to be using some additives such as a calcium additive into our salt t
