Friday night was an emotional one for Vancouver Canucks fans as the team shocked the NHL by trading captain and star defenseman Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild . After weeks of heavy speculation linking Hughes to teams like the New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings, it was the Wild who stepped forward with a blockbuster offer. Over eight seasons, Hughes became the highest-scoring blueliner in Vancouver history, finishing with 432 points, including 371 assists, 190 power-play points, and 110 multi-point games.
