KNOX Co., Ill. (KWQC) - A part of US Highway 150 is expected to be closed for nearly 3 days due to an oversized load with a broken trailer.
The road is closed near the Spoon River bridge, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Around 4 p.m., Illinois State Police said both lanes on US 150 were blocked off at County Road 1900 E.
The road will be closed for a minimum of 72 hours because a specialized crane is needed for repairs, the IDOT said.
The IDOT said there is a detour route in place. Drivers are to use I-74 to re-enter US 150 via the IL 97/US 150 ecit east of Knoxville. An additional alternate route is IL 180 to IL 167 to US 34 to US 150/Henderson Street.
