WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police confirm Alexis Jiminez was located and is safe.

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police are asking for the community's help in locating a runaway 15-year-old girl.

The department said Alexis Jiminez was last seen Thursday in the area of 21st Street North and Hillside. She may also be in the area of 13th Street North and Minneapolis.

Police say Alexis was observed wearing a black shirt, black jacket and tan pants. She stands 5-foot-2 and weighs about 115 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
