EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The women’s basketball team over at USI has been solid so far this year, as they get ready to wrap up their non-conference schedule, they sit at 5-2. It’s a good mark for them, and they’ve come a long way since the summer, especially with all of the newcomers they had to work to integrate. But this still feels like there’s plenty of room for growth. Their loss against Murray State was by just two points, and against Northern Kentucky, they lost in overtime. The theme in both of those games? Their opponent had too easy of a day scoring the basketball.
