HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - North Laurel rallied to knock off Hazard, 54-43 in overtime to book their place in Saturday’s boys’ championship game at the WYMT Food City Mountain Classic.

The first quarter went Hazard’s way, racing out to a 15 to 8 lead.

North Laurel marginally chipped away at the deficit, but Hazard kept its stranglehold on the game at halftime, leading 25-19.

The Jaguars inched closer to the Bulldogs after the third quarter, with Hazard leading 34-31.

Early in the fourth quarter, Trace Kincaid was hit with a technical foul after he made a three to make Hazard’s lead six, 37-31.

From there, that sparked a 7-0 run which culminated with a three from Jordan Rawlings to put the Jaguars ahead.
