GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A woman from Gainesville is being recognized for her work in making horse doctors’ lives easier.
Doctor Amanda McCleery accepted a national award from the American Association of Equine Practitioners.
Members of the organization say she developed a system to split up vets’ work schedules for ‘round-the-clock horse care.
They say her system, created in 2017, lightened the workload for her colleagues around the country.
