Cleveland trailed 17-5 after one quarter, but the Blue Raiders did a complete 180 the next three quarters. Cleveland goes on the road and beats Bradley Central 49-46 in a rivalry Friday night matchup.
After being down 12 points, the Blue Raiders opened the second quarter on a 10-4 run. However, Bradley Central still led by six points at halftime, finishing the quarter on a 7-2 run.
Bradley Central started off the second half on a hot stretch before Cleveland once again cut into the deficit.
The Blue Raiders took their first lead since going up 2-0 early in the fourth quarter and never relinquished that lead again.
Head Coach Howard Pride explained, "I saw a group that was sick and tired of losing. I saw a team coming together and growing up before our very eyes."
