An infant just one day old tragically lost its life in an ambulance due for a Jaipur hospital, with the child's father asserting that an oxygen shortage and driver negligence were at fault.

The event transpired near Bassi on Friday as the newborn was being transferred from Bayana hospital in Bharatpur district to SMS hospital in Jaipur. Accompanied by his father and uncle, the infant's life depended on swift medical attention.

The father reports that the ambulance driver left them stranded at Bassi government hospital after oxygen supplies ran dry. Medical staff declared the infant deceased upon arrival, highlighting troubling gaps in emergency medical services.
