BT has warned homeowners that they could be losing half of their wi-fi signal if they position their hub or router in a 'common' spot. According to BT, the mistake happens when people place their router beside a window.
While many people might consider it practical to position their router oout of the way, it could restrict their signal. Instead, BT recommends placing the router in a central position. "Move your hub away from the window – your hub broadcasts wi-fi in all directions and half of your signal will go outside, rather than your home." Additio
