Indiana's Fernando Mendoza, Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia, Ohio State's Julian Sayin and Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love stand as the four finalists for college football's most coveted individual honor, with Mendoza and Pavia widely viewed as the two favorites to take home the 45-pound bronze statue.

Mendoza and Pavia would be the first Heisman winners in the history of their respective programs.

The ceremony will highlight an eventful Saturday in the sport, which will also include the Army-Navy Game, the Celebration Bowl and the LA Bowl, the first official game of the 2025-26 bowl season.

Heisman Trophy predictions, picks, odds

Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Wednesday, Dec. 10

  • Fernando Mendoza: -1200
  • Diego Pavia: +700
  • Jeremiyah Love: +15000
  • Julian Sayin: +50000

Predicted winner: Fernando Mendoza

There's a compelling case for Pavia, who had more all-around yards than Mendoza and led Vanderbilt to a program-record 10 wins. But Mendoza's output as the star quarterback on the No. 1 team in the country (like Vanderbilt, another historic pushover) will lift him to first place in what should be a tight race.
