SALT LAKE CITY — A man was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle in Roy Friday evening.
Sgt. Josh Taylor with the Roy Police Department said officers received a report at 5:29 p.m. that a person had been hit in the intersection of 1750 West and Riverdale Rd.
The person hit was a 20-year-old man. He has since been transported to the hospital with “moderate,” non-life-threatening injuries.
Taylor said the driver of the vehicle that hit the man is cooperating with police.
The westbound lanes in this area were temporarily blocked while authorities responded to the scene.
