The grand opening of a ‘campus of care’ was celebrated Friday afternoon as dignitaries and seniors gathered at the newly constructed Aspira Brant’s Landing Retirement Living and Oakwood Commons long-term care facility on Lynden Road in Brantford.
“One of the things which is unique about this building is it’s a campus of care,” said Nitin Jain, president and CEO of Sienna Senior Living that operates 150 facilities in four provinces. “It has both retirement living and long-term care, and you hear often about how couples at a different age get separated from each other because one needs care and one doesn’t.”

He added that the company has found that more long-term care residents are looking for hospitality services that have resulted in the same meals being served to all
