Chris Sutton believes it would be 'ridiculous' if Celtic were to sack Wilfried Nancy for losing the Premier Sports Cup final on Sunday.

The Frenchman has got off to an arduous start to life in Glasgow after losing his first two games in charge of the Parkhead club to Heart of Midlothian and Roma.

Having been in the door for just over a week, Sutton disagrees with the sentiment that tomorrow's showdown will define Nancy's future.

He said [ RecordSport ]: "There have been some wild takes about Wilfried Nancy after a difficult first week in the job.
