Mohamed Salah will return to Liverpool's matchday squad for this weekend's Premier League fixture against Brighton after holding talks with Arne Slot on Friday.
The Egypt international, 33, sent shockwaves through the football world last weekend by claiming he had been 'thrown under the bus' by the club after being benched again for the 3-3 draw with Sunderland . Salah went on to claim that he had no relationship with Slot and appeared to open the door to a sensational mid-season exit.
Liverpool and Slot responded by omitting Salah from the travelling part for the midweek game against Inter Milan, with Slot explaining in his Friday press conference that he would speak with Salah on the eve of Saturday's game with Brighton.
