1Beachwood, NJ – With up to four inches of snow expected across Ocean County Saturday night into Sunday, the Beachwood Police Department is reminding residents to prepare for winter weather and follow local parking rules to ensure safe plowing operations.

The borough is under a Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, forecasting 3 to 4 inches of accumulation followed by bitter cold through early next week.

Parking restrictions in effect during snow

Police said all vehicles must be removed from public roadways when they become snow-covered, in accordance with Borough Ordinance #7-3.7. Officers warned that any vehicles left on snow-covered streets may be ticketed or towed to allow the Department of Public Works to plow safely and efficiently.
