ATLANTA — Two people are dead after a fiery, single-vehicle crash on I-75 southbound on Saturday, according to Atlanta Police.
Officers said the incident happened on I-75 SB near Cleveland Avenue SW at around 3:14 a.m. on Dec. 13.
According to officers, a Kia Sportage was traveling south when the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to take exit Cleveland Ave. SW. The vehicle left the road, hit a pole and caught fire, police said.
The two occupants in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the victims have not been released at this time.
Police are still working to find out what led to the deadly crash.
